Colonel Sanders Chess Pie

Notes:
This recipe came from a booklet Colonel Sanders put out in 1964. The wording is extremely choppy, but these are the Colonel's recipes. He did not include his Chicken Recipe in this booklet.

Ingredients:
4 egg yolks
1 C. cream
1 C. sugar
1/2 C. butter
1/2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg

Preparation:
Cream butter and sugar well. Add other ingredients. Pour into an unbaked crust. Bake in oven 350 degrees until done. (sic) I would guess this is about 30-40 minutes, my figure could be wrong. It is suggested that you top the Pie with meringue.
