Cafe Annie Chocolate Pecan Torte

Ingredients: 1 unbaked nine inch pie crust 2 Tbsp. Butter 3 oz. unsweetened Chocolate 3/4 C. Sugar 1/2 tsp. Salt 2 Tbsp. Flour 1 C. dark Corn Syrup 3 Eggs 1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla 1 3/4 C. Pecans
Preparation: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter and chocolate together in a double boiler and set aside. Meanwhile mix sugar, salt, and flour, in a seperate bowl. Stir in syrup and eggs. Add melted butter and chocolate. Add vanilla and pecans and blend all ingredients. Pour into an unbake pieshell. You might want to use a quiche pan for serving ease. Bake one hour or until firm to the touch. Cool and serve. |
