Ingredients: 1 loaf of french bread 1/2 C. butter (or margarine) 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 lb. shredded provelone cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or any other cheese can be substituted) Preparation: Cut bread on the bias into slices. Melt butter and garlic. Dip bread into melted garlic butter. Sprinkle generously with cheese. Bake at 375° until the bread is heated through and the cheese is melted.
